| New Members' Coffee Morning 1 September 2011
As usual this was held at the Pheasant Inn, Bassenthwaite ans was attended by 26 members including the committee. The Pheasant Inn is   a most congenial venue for this event and the staff always supplies the most delectable shortbread to accompany the coffee!       Everyone seemed to enjoy
the opportunity to meet some fellow new members as well as a chance to
chat to the committee when they were able to learn a little more about running the society and its plans for future events.Needless to say, meeting the new members at a separate event is valued enormously by the committee. We should like to thank those members who were able to attend and the Pheasant Inn for providing the refreshments. Events |
